BC Services, Inc. is proud of the small environmental footprint our company has in our community. We strive to be an eco-friendly company by creating awareness to sustain environmentally healthy choices at work, home, and in our communities.
We are committed to managing environmental impact as an integral part of our operations. It is our policy to ensure the environmental integrity of our processes and facilities. BC Services achieves this by adhering to the following principles:
- Employing management procedures specifically designed to minimize the use of energy and other natural resources, to minimize the generation of waste, and to enable recycling and reuse of matter.
- Identifying opportunities to improve our environmental performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting our results including, but not limited to, energy, water, paper, fuel consumption and vehicle miles traveled.
- Promoting participation and communicating our commitment to responsible environmental management by encouraging environmental responsibility among our employees; providing the necessary training and support enabling them to implement this policy; informing suppliers of our environmental policy and encouraging them to adopt effective environmental management practices; and soliciting input from our employees, suppliers, customers, and board members in meeting our environmental goals.
